Gil manages Bath Consultancy Group's Coaching Excellence and Supervision capability. He is an executive coach and trainer of coaching and supervision. He specialises in enabling organisations to create their coaching culture and harvest systemic feedback from coaching.

Gil is a US national based in the UK who has over 20 years experience of Human Resource Development.

He thrives on the diversity of consulting, coaching and training.  His clients span a diverse mix of public and private sector organisations including BOC, Ernst & Young, Nationwide Building Society, UK National Health Service and the Ministry of Defence.  He is a facilitator and coach on the Advanced Development Programme at London Business School working with international general managers.

Previously, Gil had 15 years blue chip experience in Human Resource Development as Group Learning and Development Manager at Orange and prior to that, as Manager of PHH University Europe.  At Orange, he was responsible for all training and development across the UK.  Major projects included leadership and management development, creation and integration of mission, values and critical success factors; implementation of performance management systems, recognition and reward strategy and practices. 

Gil's career in the UK spans 20 years including Training & Development / OD Manager for PHH Europe and more latterly with Orange.  He went ‘independent' in 2000 as a trainer, consultant and coach.  He has worked with Bath Consultancy Group since 2005. 

He is on the Board of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council UK (EMCC). He represents EMCC UK at the roundtable of professional coaching bodies.

Gil's recent client work includes:

  • Lead researcher and writer of Coaching Supervision: Maximising the Potential of Coaching published by CIPD in 2006
  • Training hundreds of coaches and mentors in a wide range of private and public sector organisations
  • Trainer and supervisor on the Bath Consultancy Group's Certificate in Coaching Supervision
  • A busy, growing practice of coaching, individual and group supervision, supervision of supervisors.
  • Coaching on an international senior management development programme

Gil has a BA in Communication and Human Relations, MA in Business and Organisational Communication, a post graduate diploma in training management and numerous coaching and coaching supervision programmes.
