Creating a shift in top team performance
In 2005, Bath Consultancy Group worked with
the top team of a Strategic Health Authority to assist them
in responding to significant restructuring in the NHS.
The
process started with a 360 organisational survey that captured
feedback from a very wide range of stakeholders using BCG's
unique Perception Audit methodology. Subsequent work with the
team identified the key messages and determined the resultant
actions.
The next step involved working with the team
to clarify the team's purpose during the time of significant
change. BCG helped the team define and agree the short and
medium priorities for business and for themselves as the executive
team. This enabled them to create a shift in the leadership
style that was owned by all the members.
