V. Kartikeyan (Kartik)

Kartik is an organisation consultant, facilitator and executive coach with over 20 years of experience.

His corporate work experience covers the full range of HR leadership and related issues (including managing in a global and highly competitive context) whilst his consulting experience has been filled with a plethora of highly challenging engagements in building human capability in several settings.

Kartik started his work career in 1987 with an automotive components conglomerate in India.  Having been exposed to HR at the factory and worldwide sales levels, he moved into a challenging factory HR role in Hindustan Unilever Limited in 1994.  In 1996, he was handpicked for a large HR leadership role in Motorola India.  He was responsible for crafting the Country Labor Strategy in Motorola, and eventually led the Global Software Group HR in India.  From 2001, Kartik joined Texas Instruments India, and in his tenure there, successfully led the company to receive the #1 rank in India's Great Places to Work Survey in 2003 and to #2 rank in the same survey in 2004, a feat that has not been paralleled by other companies.

Kartik received a Certificate in OD from NTL, USA, and qualifications / certifications in several psychometric instruments.

Kartik is trained in group dynamics, leadership and human processes through Sumedhas Academy in India, and is now the Convenor of the Indian Academy of OD.
