Bob Schilling would be the coach of choice for senior executives of organisations with mission-critical mandates. These include public safety, vital installations and utilities and other strategic organisations, as well as corporations faced with the need for rapid and sustainable change.
Bob coaches top executives – regardless of their organisations’ business field or strategic mandate – in leading, managing and navigating through uncertain, volatile and intensely competitive times and environments. As executive coach, Bob’s approach focuses on people leading people; sustaining the critical awareness of self and situation needed in running operations and enterprises that leave little margin for error and unreliability.
Coaching assignments have led to work in both government and corporate arenas. Representative clients include Los Angeles World Airports, LAX Police, Fannie Mae, KPMG, a large financial regulatory agency, and the Los Angeles County Regional Planning Department. Bob has also helped to train coaches in the US, Singapore and South Africa.
Prior to his involvement in Human Capital Development, Bob amassed nearly 30 years’ management and leadership experience with the New York Metropolitan Transit Authority’s Tunnels & Bridges subsidiary, the New York City Transit Authority, the Saudi Public Transit Authority, and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
In 1996 Bob went into private practice as a coach and consultant. He is currently a Director of Human Capital Network, a member of the HCD Group.
Bob holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Whittier College, and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California.
